Maximum permissible levels for 3-MCPD to be lowered further
The EU Commission plans to lower the maximum permitted levels for infant formulae and follow-on formulae and foods for special medical purposes for infants and young children from 1 January 2024.
The German consumer magazine "Ökotest" has examined fish fingers...

Lowering of maximum levels for deoxynivalenol (DON) planned
Lower limit values for the mycotoxin have been demanded for some time. According to a draft regulation of the EU Commission, the proposals are now becoming more concrete.
Test potato crisps: Many contain too many harmful substances
The German consumer magazine ÖKO-TEST tested potato crisps in the paprika flavour. Of the 20 commercial samples tested, seven were organic products.
